Target Number

Use every starting number once. Pick two chips and a sign to join them, then keep going until one chip hits the target. Every step stays in view, and exact fractions count correctly.

Undo, start over, ask the original numbers a different question, or find another route. Switch off automatic advance when you want more time.

Area Mazes

Seventeen original puzzles, three levels, and one missing value. Use the labelled sides and areas to find it. The rectangles deliberately are not drawn to scale, so the reasoning does the work.

Hints point toward a shared side or useful ratio. Each diagram also has a text description of the information shown.

From a link to a little game of your own

No computer skills required.

The Choose a game link is the easiest start, especially on a phone. On a computer, you can also keep either complete game in a single file.

  1. Download a game below. Save the HTML file in Downloads or somewhere easy to find.
  2. Double-click that file. It opens in your browser and works without internet. If it opens as text, choose Open with and select your browser.
  3. Start as Player 1, or add a nickname. Open Learners and backups to make another learner. Each game keeps its own learners and progress.

You do not need GitHub, a terminal, an API key or a paid account.

Keep the work you have done

A backup belongs to you.

The games save progress in this browser. Use Export this learner’s progress before clearing browser data, moving files or changing browsers. A backup contains the nickname and progress in readable text, so keep it private. Import creates a separate learner.

If browser storage is unavailable, the game clearly says Temporary session. You can still play and export before leaving. If two tabs compete to save, the older edit stays available for recovery.

These games have no analytics or default cloud connection. An optional cloud system is included for people who host their own copy, with adult sign-in. Choose which learner to attach or restore; once attached and connected, later saves upload automatically. The offline files keep cloud disabled.

The MIT license lets you use, change, share or sell your version, keeping the notice. Dependencies keep their own notices. The area-puzzle format was inspired by Naoki Inaba’s Menseki Meiro; these are independently authored puzzles.
